Psychoanalytic Therapy
This is an opportunity to tackle buried memories and experiences,
Goal - To heal from early childhood traumas.
Task - Understanding the impact by making the unconscious conscious.
Method - Reconstruct the clients basic personality by repairing earlier experiences and working through repressed conflicts.
Person-centered Therapy
Rowena provides a safe climate conducive to the clients self exploration.
Goal - To recognise blocks to growth and experience aspects of self that were formerly denied or distorted.
Task - Understanding the impact of problems presenting.
Method - Gentle, congruent, reflective listening and unconditional regard.
Schema Behavioural Therapy
Is used by Rowena in the form of psychoeducation to understand four modes that we can dip in and out of. These modes are Vulnerable Child Mode, Angry Child Mode, Frightened Child Mode and Healthy Adult Mode.
Goal - To eliminate maladaptive behaviors such as abandonment and mistrust.
Task - Create client awareness affiliated with rejection, control, subjugation, and emotional deprivation that influence thoughts and behaviours.
Method - Teaching awareness of preempt to prevent an event.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Rowena guides clients to become aware of negative automatic thoughts and to change them.
Goal - To have a better view of him/herself.
Task - Self-criticism and fearful thoughts changed.
Method - by confronting faulty beliefs with contradictory evidence that we gather and evaluate by using record sheets.
Choice theory / Reality therapy
The therapist will regularly check in with the clients basic needs, ensuring they’re being met.
Goal - Create love, belonging, safety, security, fun, significance and freedom.
Task - Clients are encouraged to become more effective in meeting all their psychological needs.
Method - Putting in a quality world by teaching her choice theory.
Post Modern Approach - Existential and Pluralistic Therapy
Emphasis will address self-identity, grounded on competence and resourcefulness so one can resolve present and future concerns.
Goal - change the way presenting problems are viewed and what the client can do about his/her concerns.
Task - To collaboratively establish specific, clear, concrete, realistic, and ongoing goals, leading to increased positive change.
Method - View his/her life in a positive way, rather than being problem saturated.

Gestalt Therapy
Rowena will focus is on what is emerging in the client’s awareness by expanding the capacity to make choices safer choices.
Goal - To assist clients to gain awareness moment-to-moment
Task - To foster and encourage an integration of self.
Methods - The therapist helps clients to experience his/her feelings fully, not by speculating about why he/she behaves as he/she does but instead, guided by the shifts in her awareness, and together therapist and client will create experiments grown out of the clients new awareness within his/her struggles.
